Who is the living woman you admire the most?
My mother, she is honestly the strongest woman I know. She escaped a war-torn country with 7 kids and her sister and raised us all on her own. She is such a hard working woman.

What’s the first thing on your to-do list?
Start my own business sometime this year doing hair and makeup. My own beauty business working with afrocentric hair.
If you could give any piece of advice, what would it be?
Don’t hold on to hate. Don’t let something that happened to you three years ago affect you in your present day. Because you’ll carry too much bad energy with you.
If you had three wishes, what would they be?
- For everyone and everything to be equal and fair
- Peace for my country, South Sudan. I want us to move forward as a Nation and do something good for ourselves. We are really talented and strong people, but the trauma is holding us back.
- That I live a long healthy and happy life
